Gurleen offers online counselling with a flexible schedule. There is a growing demand for online therapy and as a result she provides online counselling as a means for people for live in remote areas, for those with psychical limitations, convenience and affordability for clients. You are able to attend sessions with the comfort of your own home and can schedule therapy sessions for times that are most convenient for you. She understands technology and privacy can be a concern and has worked hard to remove those barriers.
The onboarding process takes less than 5 minutes and the security level is equivalent to Canadian banks. Gurleen offers video conferencing, phone, and instant messaging modalities of services. She also specializes in working with racialized populations who may be experiencing unique challenges due to their culture, race, religion, or English being their second language.
Counselling
Gurleen works with individuals, couples, and families. Her work is informed by the Gottman Method, Critical Race Theory, Microaggression Theory, Systemic Family Therapy Model, Feminist Theory, and Response- Based Practice.
Consulting
Gurleen does anti-racism presentations and group training to schools, non-profit organizations, and corporations. Creating a more an inclusive environment and for individuals to learn skills for how to identify, respond and prevent racism.
Family Law Reports
When families are going through separation or divorce, there is a process by which they can escalate the types of support they can access. If the conflict has reached litigation, families are able to hire an expert to assess and write a report that is put before the judge. There are 3 kinds of reports: Views Of The Child report, Hearing The Child report, and a Section 211 report. Each report varies by intensity and cost. Contact Gurleen for more information.
Family Mediation
Family mediation is a services accessed when two parties cannot reach an agreement and would like to avoid going to court. Gurleen is able to act as a neutral party to assist in a formal dispute resolution.
Anti-Racism Consulting
